HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: We fund programs that support the health and healthy development of children aged 0-5. Our Commisssion has established the Priority Outcome areas of Improved Child Health, Improved Family Functioning, Improved Early Care and Education, and Improved School Readiness. Most of our funded programs target or have a large proportion of clients at greater risk of poor health due to poverty, poor community conditions, and/or other soci-economic factors.
