HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: Our organization works to guarantee every woman in Massachusetts the full range of reproductive choices including preventing unintended pregnancy, bearing healthy children, and accessing safe, legal abortion. We use a health disparities lens in all of the work that we do since women of color and low-income women face particular barriers to reproductive health. Specifically, we are a member of the Disparities Action Network coalition and supported the creation of an Office of Health Equity in the state. Further, we support policies that increase access to education and services for women and communities that are most in need.
