The March of Dimes funds programs of research, community services, education and advocacy to address disparities in infant health outcomes and promote health equity, and in 2003, launched a campaign to address the increasing rate of premature birth among all racial groups. Our chapters are all required to do at least one disparities initiative in their local communities - these vary from community-based grants to key signature programs.
