HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: This Foundation-supported national commission of policy leaders is developing information about the sources of SES and racially/ethnically based disparities in health and exploring public and private sector policies that will reduce such shortfalls in health among Americans. The Commission will issue its recommendations in April 2009.
