We are working towards health equity in the following areas: Healthy eating (convenience stores, farm stands, calorie labeling, and trans fat ban, promoting urban agriculture and access to locally grown foods), Active Living (Safe Routes to School, Bike/Walk Ambassadors), Healthy Housing (Health Impact Assessments, Lead abatement in Housing), Youth violence prevention, and improving Air Quality in a heavily impacted community. We have also engaged the community in deep listening sessions in answer to the questions: "Tell us about a time when your family or community were healthy."
