HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: A major focus of the research in our Center for Primary Care and Prevention involves studying and advancing health equity on various levels. Our family medicine residency includes in its mission to train residents to serve the underserved, and an important theme running through our undergraduate medical education and residency teaching involves the social determinants of health.
