HEALTH EQUITY INITIATIVES: We work in three primary areas: grantmaking, public awareness and policy support, and leadership recognition and development. We have two grantmaking initiatives -- Healthy Together: Creating Community with New Americans, focusing on immigrant adjustment and integration, and Growing Up Healthy: Kids and Communities, which focuses on the intersection of health and early childhood development, safe and affordable housing, and the environment.
